1. It improves flexibility and prepares our body for the intermediate group of asanas or classic asana.
2. Hand joint practices have a very good impact on the upper back and shoulder joints.
3. There are many eye practices which are beneficial for eye muscles, eye sight and facial muscles. We are going to discuss - Palming & Blinking.
4. We are going to practice Utahan Padasana – leg raising, Pada Sanchalanasana - Cycling and Naukasana - boat pose
5. We are going to learn about Chakki Chalanasna and Nauka Sanchalanasan - (rowing the boat).
6. We will learn to practice shavasana and Makarasana.
7. The characteristic feature of the Meditative Asana is, however, keeping the head, neck and trunk erect.
8. Vajrasana is the only asana advisable just after meals.
9. This series of asanas has a stretching and strengthening effect on the back, postural and hamstring muscle. We are going to practices Tadasana, Hasta utthanasana.
10. Backward bending asanas stretch the abdominal muscles and tone and strengthen the muscles controlling the spine.
